Our Rentals Policies

City Car and Truck Rentals has several company policies in place to ensure the safety and satisfaction of their customers. These policies include:

• Age Requirements: To rent a vehicle customers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. For customers between the ages of 21 and 24, a young driver surcharge may apply.
• Credit Card Requirement: Customers are required to provide a valid credit card to rent a vehicle. Debit cards and cash are not accepted as payment.
• Insurance Coverage: We offer optional insurance coverage to their customers. While it is not required, customers are strongly encouraged to consider this coverage to protect themselves and the rental vehicle in case of an accident.
• Fuel Policy: There is a full-to-full fuel policy, which means that customers must return the rental vehicle with a full tank of gas. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, the customer will be charged for the missing fuel.
• Rental Extensions: If a customer needs to extend their rental period, they must contact the company at least 24 hours before the original rental end date. Failure to do so may result in additional fees and charges.
• Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited in all City Car and Truck Rentals vehicles. If a customer is found to have smoked in the rental vehicle, they will be charged a cleaning fee.
• Cancellation Policy: If a customer needs to cancel their reservation, they must do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. If the cancellation is made within 24 hours of the rental start time, the customer may be charged a fee.
